SIM can rely on its experience in conducting situational analysis study and survey. The aim of the above investigations is to provide the Client with an assessment of results and performance of the interested project.
The Company has experience in both Baseline Survey and Beneficiary Tracer Surveys. The first one intend to identify the situation of beneficiaries prior to the intervention of the Project, the second one to find strengths and weaknesses in the planning, implementation and management of the implantation of the project and seek to turn these into actionable recommendations to guide future activities.
The surveys are conducted through data collection face-to-face questionnaire, which contains a series of questions designed to gather information from involved parties. The Firm adopts a multi-sectoral approach aiming at contributing to a higher-level objective of understanding the linkages between poverty, vulnerability to climate risks and informality in urbanization.
SIM provides guidelines for interviewers on how to conduct surveys in the field and develops survey instruments that are in line with international standards.
The Company has substantial experience in: Survey Design, including sampling strategy and questionnaire (in close collaboration with the stakeholders and Client); conduct pre-pilot and finalize the survey instrument; develop the sampling strategy; implement the survey; collect data; enter and clean the survey data in a database and conduct data analysis and prepare survey reports.
